A little about my family, I have a wonderful wife and two little girls at the writing of this blog post. Everyday when I am with them my humanity screams that I don't deserve these wonderful people in my life. I haven't done anything and nothing that I could ever do could make me DESERVE their presence in my life. If my humanity makes me certain of this, then they can only be one thing, gifts.

Even more, their freedom, which is based on their humanity, prevents me from ever owning them or having them as my possession, because they can or God can choose to take their presence from me at any time. Therefore not only are they gifts, but every single day with them is a gift. The fact that they are gifts necessitates a giver, and when I truly see this reality I am overwhelmed with love and with the question of life, who.
As I reflect on my first meeting Erik, McKenna and their daughter Adison at their engagement shoot at St. Anthony's Main, this is what I remember striking me.
Our time together started with all three of them to capture the sense of their family and once Adison had had enough of me, Erik, McKenna and I continued on for a little bit to capture a sense of them as a couple.
Enjoy...

McKenna and Erik... thank you.
Tim

Tim! I love these... and love what you wrote about your girls... St. Anthony Main is a great place to shoot. I love the way everyone shoots there differently. The possibilities are endless. Great Job and i hope you're having an excellent summer!
