Lately, I've been asking myself "Why Photography?" Why do I love photography, or more specifically, photographing people? The answer is ever changing and is entirely too complex and convoluted to actually communicate in its entirety, but one of my judgments really struck me.
I love photographing people, and weddings in specific, because I am allowed to observe the beauty of life in a detached way. Viewing life in a detached way, where I am not a participant or emotionally attached, allows me to see the beauty of life intrinsically. This opportunity to see beauty satisfies my heart.
Dustin and Teresa's wedding day was not an exception. My experience tells me that there are no exceptions.

Time for bride to become WIFE!

This is one of my favorites from the day...
After the wedding we headed to the reception at Stonebrooke Golf Club...

Dustin and Teresa, it was truly an honor.

After we left the salon I met Teresa at Grace Lutheran Church in Apple Valley where she got ready and then went from bride to WIFE!

I love this moment!

Doesn't life feel this way sometimes....

Once in a while I'll try a new wine based on the "coolness" of its label. So this past week I ended up with Gnarly Head 2006 California Cabernet Savignon.
Here's my quick review: Yuck.
More to come next week along with a wine that I quite liked.

The first real post on my new blog: Blog 3.0! Again, if you want to visit Blog 2.0 click here.
Lyndsie and EJ were married at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall, Minnesota. I was raised in Marshall and have many fond memories of Holy Redeemer, so I love every opportunity I get to shoot both in Marshall and at Holy Redeemer.
I met Lyndsie and the ladies are her parents farm just outside Marshall as they were gettingready.

Let's get MARRIED!!!

Let's celebrate.
Lyndsie and her sister during her sister's speech.
The DJ played a fun game with Lyndsie and EJ that was quite entertaining.
Enjoying a slide show of their lives. I love watching slide shows that couples make, it really helps me know who they are a people.
My coverage ended with their first dance.

EJ and Lyndsie, it was truly a pleasure.

Lyndsie Adams:
Tim, we loved working with you! Everyone was SO impressed with all of the pictures, including us. Our bridal party and families were so thankful that you were talented enough to make it short and sweet - just enough to get all of the shots we wanted. I have been recommending you to all of my friends and family! Thanks again!
