Where do I start? Getting ready at the Poplar River Villas at Lutsen Resort, some time with the wedding party and families around one of the most beautiful resorts in Minnesota, Lutsen Resort, then a wedding at Temperance River State Park, all topped off with a party on the deck at Lutsen's Main Lodge, what a celebration!
Laura, Nate and I met for the first time on the morning of their wedding day and they are fun, creative, energetic and great people to be around.
My day started with some of the hardest working bridesmaids I've met. When I arrived they were making their own bouquets, then they got Laura all beautified.
Laura and Nate met for the first time on their wedding day on one of the two beautiful bridges at Lutsen Resort.
Then we met the wedding party and on our way across the bridge the ring bearer's pillow ended up in the river! Luckily Laura and Nate have a fast wedding party!
Nathan wanted to bulk up a little before the ceremony, but there weren't any weights around!
Poor girls didn't have an umbrella, good thing she's smart!

Matt and Kate are a beautiful couple with beautiful friends and family. You may recall their engagement session on my blog v2.0.
Matt and Kate's wedding was overwhelming with love, from Kate's friends helping her get ready and scrubbing with their Tide Stain Sticks to Matt's friends and their joyfulness to both Matt's and Kate's families singing at the wedding and the list could go on and on.
I love the first time the couples see each other all ready for the wedding because this idea that has been in their head planning for months and month is now reality.
Kate and Matt were married by Kate's Grandfather. Here he is just moment before the ceremony begins.
My little girls are one and three years old right now. These moments are so overwhelming for me now that I have two daughters of my own.

After the ceremony Kate, Matt and I went around the golf course at Cragun's Legacy while their guests settled in to the cocktail hour and chipping contest.
Matt and Kate's band was The Casablanca Orchestra and they were completely awesome, I would HIGHLY recommend them.
Matt and Kate, you guys are unbelievable and wonderful. Thank you.

The Brainerd Lakes Area is full of wonderful resorts and facilities for a destination wedding. Friends and family end up with a mini vacation with a wedding in the middle; great for everybody.
Madden's resort is a perfect example of a Brainerd Lakes resort perfect for a wedding. It has beautiful grounds, a great beach, an awesome lake, great golf nearby, good food, great service and unique "up-north" facilities; the list is endless.
Michael and Ali hail from Chicago, but the beauty and feel of the Brainerd Lakes drew them up here for their wedding. Here are a few images from their day.

Wedding season is full-tilt right now! I just returned from the North Shore shooting a wedding and am leaving the tomorrow afternoon, so I am crazy busy in the office today.
I wish I had time to write more about Erik, McKenna and little Addison because they are great people and had an awesome wedding. Since I don't have time to write, I'll let the images tell the story...
